Application principle of Ozone in flue gas desulfurization and denitration technology:

The NOx in the flue gas is oxidized to high-valence nitrogen oxides by using the strong oxidation of ozone, and then the nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide are absorbed and transformed into substances dissolved in water in the washing tower to achieve the purpose of removal. With the application of ozone oxidation and tail flue gas washing, the removal efficiency of NOx is often more than 95 percent, and the removal efficiency of SOx is close to 100 percent. After desulfurization, no ammonia is added in the denitration process, and there is no ammonia escape problem, and the setting of the denitration section is more beneficial to the control of ammonia escape in the original ammonia desulfurization process. The reaction product of ozone is oxygen, and the REDOX potential of ozone is second only to fluorine, and higher than hydrogen peroxide and potassium permanganate.
